Orange-fronted parakeet / Kākāriki karaka Perched Bird

A bright little nod to the critically endangered Kākāriki karaka, that is now flourishing in the Brook Waimārama Sanctuary in Nelson. This hand-painted wooden kākāriki is designed to perch neatly on the top corner of a doorframe, shelf, picture frame or wall trim. A sweet way to add a bit of birdlife indoors without taking up wall space.
